GLUCAN REDUCTION VIRUS REMOVAL FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virus removal filter having a small elution amount of -1,3-glucan even comprising a cellulose type porous hollow fiber membrane having a large membrane area.SOLUTION: The virus removal filter comprises: a housing; a cellulose type porous hollow fiber membrane filled in the housing; and a binding material. A terminal of the cellulose type porous hollow fiber membrane is fixed at an end in the housing by the binding material. An inner diameter of the housing is 50 mm or more and 150 mm or less. A filtration area of the cellulose type porous hollow fiber membrane is 1.0 mor more and 8.0 mor less. Displacement of the binding material in a 1.5 MPa pressurization testing is 0.5 mm or more and 2.5 mm or less.
