Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that is able to reduce the stress of a stator coil, generated at the end of a stator iron core during the short circuit of the rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 100 includes a cylindrical stator 23 and a rotor 24 rotatably supported inside the stator 23. The stator 23 includes: a plurality of stator iron cores 1 arranged in the axial direction of the stator 23; stator coils 4(4, 4) accommodated in slots 20 provided in the stator iron cores 1; and a stator frame 25. The stator iron cores 1 are arranged in the axial direction of the stator 23. The stator coils 4 are accommodated in the slots 20 provided in the stator iron cores 1. A reinforcement 6 is arranged between the stator coil 4and the stator iron core 1a located furthest outside in the axial direction of the stator 23 among the stator iron cores 1, and juts out in the axial direction of the stator 23 from the end of the stator iron core 1a. 【課題】回転電機の短絡時に固定子鉄心端部で発生する固定子コイルの応力を低減できる回転電機を提供する。【解決手段】回転電機100は、円筒状の固定子23とその内側に回転可能に支持された回転子24とを備える。固定子23は、固定子23の軸方向に配置された複数の固定子鉄心1と、固定子鉄心1に設けられたスロット20に収められた固定子コイル4(41、42)と、固定子フレーム25からなる。複数の固定子鉄心1は、固定子23の軸方向に配置される。固定子コイル4は、固定子鉄心1に設けられたスロット20に収められる。補強板6は、固定子鉄心1のうち固定子23の軸方向の最も外側に位置する固定子鉄心1aと固定子コイル41の間に配置され、固定子鉄心1aの端部から固定子23の軸方向に突き出している。【選択図】図3
