PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape measurement device capable of confirming the abnormality of measurement.SOLUTION: A shape measurement device 10 includes: a stage 13 for placing a measurement object 12; an imaging part configured to image the measurement object 12, and to relatively move to the stage 13; and a control part for acquiring an optical measurement value based on the measurement object 12 by the imaging part at each predetermined pitch in a first direction vertical to the stage 13 while allowing the imaging part to move in the first direction, and for executing a measurement operation to acquire measurement information consisting of the measurement value and the sequence of position information in the first direction in the case of acquiring the measurement value, and for calculating the shape measurement value of the measurement object 12 from the measurement information. The control part determines measurement information, and outputs error information when determining that a featured value caused by a random error included in the measurement information exceeds a predetermined threshold. 【課題】測定の異常を確認可能な形状測定装置を提供する。【解決手段】形状測定装置１０は、測定対象物１２を載置するためのステージ１３と、測定対象物１２を撮像すると共にステージ１３に対して相対移動可能に構成された撮像部と、ステージ１３に対して垂直な第１方向に撮像部を移動させながら第１方向の所定ピッチ毎に撮像部により測定対象物１２に基づく光学的な測定値を得ると共に測定値及び測定値を取得した際の第１方向の位置情報の系列からなる測定情報を取得する測定動作を実行し、測定情報から前記測定対象物１２の形状測定値を算出する制御部とを備える。制御部は、測定情報を判定し、測定情報に含まれるランダム誤差に起因する特徴量が所定のしきい値を超えたと判断したらエラー情報を出力する。【選択図】図１
