PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case with a lid, capable of reducing the manufacturing cost and securing the quality.SOLUTION: The appearance quality of a case 10 with a lid can be improved by covering the whole of a front surface 34 of a lid part 30 with a transparent covering material 60 by engaging an engagement projection 62 provided on an edge part 61 along a short side of the transparent covering material 60 with a recess 36 formed on an edge part 35 along a short side of the lid part 30 so as to attach the transparent covering material 60 to the lid part 30. Since a window part can be closed with the transparent covering material 60, regardless of the size and shape of the window part opened in the lid part 30, there is no need to make the transparent covering material 60 accurately correspond with the window part, and therefor, the manufacturing cost can be easily reduced. 【課題】製造コストの低減を図ることができ、且つ、品質を確保することができる蓋付ケースの提供。【解決手段】透明カバー材60の短辺に沿った端縁部分61に設けた嵌合突起62を、蓋部30の短辺に沿った端縁部分35に形成した凹部36に嵌合させることで、透明カバー材60を蓋部30に取り付けるようにし、これにより、透明カバー材60で蓋部30の表側の面34全体を覆うようにしたので、蓋付ケース10の外観品質を向上することができる。また、蓋部30に開口した窓部の大きさや形状によらず、透明カバー材60で窓部を塞ぐことができるので、透明カバー材60を窓部に精度よく対応させる必要がなく、これにより、製造コストの低減を容易に図ることができる。【選択図】 図６
