METHOD AND DEVICE FOR REPLENISHING FUEL TO LIQUID STORAGE TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety of work of unloading a fuel and replenishing to a liquid storage tank and further improve environmental and economical problems.SOLUTION: A fuel replenishment method uses a vapor recovery apparatus 80 which recovers separated fuel vapor ingredients by returning to a liquid storage tank 20. Before a liquid pour port 53 of a liquid pour tube 54 which communicates with the liquid storage tank 20 is opened to connect an unloading hose 61 to the liquid pour port 53, a specified item of individual work of the unloading replenishment work to be done preliminarily by an unloading operator is detected, and, on the basis of the result of the detection, the vapor recovery apparatus 80 is allowed to execute a treatment of separating fuel vapor ingredients from a gas discharged from the liquid storage tank 20 and containing fuel vapor to remove the fuel vapor ingredients, so as to reduce the pressure of the atmosphere of the vapor-phase part in the liquid storage tank for opening of the liquid pour port of the liquid storage tank 20. 【課題】貯液タンクへの燃料の荷卸し補給作業における安全性の向上と、環境・経済面での更なる改善とをはかる。【解決手段】分離した燃料蒸気成分は貯液タンク２０内に戻して回収するベーパ回収装置８０を用い、貯液タンク２０に連通する注液管５４の注液口５３に荷卸しホース６１を接続するため当該注液口５３を開放する前に、荷卸し作業者によって予め行われる荷卸し補給作業における特定個別作業の実施を検出し、この検出を受け、貯液タンク２０から放出される燃料蒸気を含んだ気体から燃料蒸気成分を分離して除去する処理をベーパ回収装置８０に開始させることにより、貯液タンク２０内を注液口の開放に備えて貯液タンク内の気相部分の雰囲気を減圧する。【選択図】図１
