Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charcoal kiln missing or reducing pre-burning time, further free from the need of the additional charge of fuel and further capable of obtaining a charcoal of high quality at a high yield, and a method for producing a charcoal using the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a charcoal kiln imparted with the conventional insulation structure and an airtight structure, and having a structure where a furnace opening 4 and a chimney 7 are installed in the lower part of a charcoal kiln body 1, and the object 10 to be carbonized is mounted on a grate 2 provided on the furnace opening 4 and the chimney 7. In the operation of charcoal production, an ignition material is ignited at the furnace opening 4, and flame is applied to the object 10 to be carbonized, thus carbonization is started. By the above structure, a combustible gas generated by the heating of the object 10 to be carbonized is burnt, and the retaining of the temperature at the inside of the charcoal kiln body 1 is made possible, thus the using amount of fuel can be reduced as possible. The completion of the carbonization is judged by the change of smoke exhausted from the chimney 7 into the colorless one, the outlets of the furnace opening and the chimney are sealed, the air is shielded and cooling is performed. 【課題】 前焚き時間を省略または短縮するともに、燃料の追加投入が不要で、しかも、良質の炭を高収率で得られる、炭窯とそれを用いた炭の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】 炭窯に従来の断熱構造と気密構造を付与し,焚口4及び煙突7を炭窯本体1の下部に設置し、被炭化物10を焚口4と煙突7の上の部分に設けたロストル2の上に載置する構造とする。炭製造の操作は、焚口4に点火材に点火し、火炎を被炭化物10にあてることで炭化を開始させる。前記の構造により、被炭化物10が加熱されることによって生成する可燃性ガスを燃焼させて、炭窯本体1内部の温度を高温に保持することが可能となり、燃料の使用量を極めて少なくすることができる。炭化の終了は、煙突7から排出される煙が無色に変化することにより判断し、焚口、煙突の出口を密閉して、空気を遮断し、冷却することにより完了となる。【選択図】図1
