USE OF LIGNAN COMPOUND FOR ANTI-WRINKLE TREATMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant extract or a compound separated from the plant extract which may be useful for preventing or treating wrinkle caused by photoaging.SOLUTION: An anti-wrinkle composition comprises, as an active ingredient, extracts which are separated and purified from nutmeg or the aril of nutmeg or lignan compounds, such as fragrin A, austobailignan 7, licarin E, and macelignan, which are separated from the extract, having an efficacy of suppressing collagen degradation, activating formation of new collagen and improving wrinkle caused by photoaging by suppressing expressions of collagen degradation enzyme-1 which is important in wrinkle formation. 【課題】光老化による皺改善の治療又は予防に極めて有用に使用しうる植物抽出物又はその抽出物から分離された化合物の提供。【解決手段】皺形成と関連した重要な要素であるコラーゲン分解酵素−１の発現を抑制することにより、コラーゲンの分解を抑制して新たなコラーゲンの生成を促進させ、光老化による皺を改善する効果がある、肉荳蒄又は肉荳蒄仮種皮から分離、精製された抽出物またはその抽出物から分離されたフラグリンＡ，オーストバイリグナン７，リカリンＥ及びメースリグナン等のリグナン系化合物を有効成分として含有する皮膚皺改善用組成物。【選択図】なし
