LED LAMP AND LED CHIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-chip LED lamp which eliminates or decrease necessity of causing to gather.SOLUTION: A chip of an LED lamp comprises: an upper surface 13; an active region 10 with a predetermined refractive factor n; and an n-type semiconductor layer 6 and a p-type semiconductor layer 7 which are laminated to each other. These semiconductor layers are formed on a transparent substrate 5 with a refractive factor nsmaller than the refractive factor nby at least 20%. The chips are each formed on at least one of the semiconductor layers so that a plurality of spaced-apart light emitting devices are formed, and each chip comprises a plurality of light emitting grooves having an electrically conductive track 16 in the chip.
