METHOD FOR EVALUATING MOISTURE-RETAINING PROPERTY OF COSMETIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply and objectively evaluating a moisture-retaining property of cosmetic.SOLUTION: The evaluation method for the moisture-retaining property of cosmetic includes the steps of: preparing an evaluation sample with the thickness of the cosmetic of not less than 0.1 mm and not more than 2.0 mm; volatilizing a volatile component contained in the evaluation sample, with the evaluation sample placed stationarily and measuring the temporal change in the mass of the evaluation sample; acquiring a drying rate of the evaluation sample when a ratio of the volatile component to the mass of the nonvolatile component contained in the evaluation sample is a prescribed value during measuring the temporal change of the mass of the evaluation sample; and determining the moisture-retaining property of the cosmetic on the basis of the magnitude of a value of the acquired drying rate. 【課題】簡便かつ客観的に化粧料の保湿性を評価できる方法を提供すること。【解決手段】化粧料の保湿性の評価方法は、化粧料の厚さが０．１ｍｍ以上２．０ｍｍ以下である評価サンプルを作製する工程と；前記評価サンプルを静置した状態で該評価サンプルに含まれる揮発成分を揮発させて、該評価サンプルの質量の経時変化を測定する工程と；前記評価サンプルの質量の経時変化を測定している間における、該評価サンプルに含まれる不揮発成分の質量に対する前記前記揮発成分の比率が所定の値であるときの該評価サンプルの乾燥速度を求める工程と；求められた前記乾燥速度の値の大小に基づき、化粧料の保湿性を判断する工程とを含む。【選択図】図５
