Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a coloring composition for a color filter, having high brightness and a high contrast ratio and also excelling in solvent resistance; and a high-quality color filter using the coloring composition for the color filter.SOLUTION: The coloring composition for a color filter is provided which contains a xanthene dye [A] represented by general formula (1), an organic compound [B] represented by general formula (11), and a binder resin [C]. The color filter is also provided which includes, on a substrate, a filter segment formed from the coloring composition for the color filter. 【課題】本発明は、高明度・高コントラスト比であって、かつ耐溶剤性にも優れるカラーフィルタ用着色組成物の提供、および、該カラーフィルタ用着色組成物を用いた、高品質のカラーフィルタの提供を目的とする。【解決手段】一般式（１）で表されるキサンテン系色素［Ａ］、一般式（１１）で表される有機化合物［Ｂ］、及びバインダー樹脂［Ｃ］を含むことを特徴とするカラーフィルタ用着色組成物により解決される。また、基材上に、該カラーフィルタ用着色組成物から形成されてなるフィルタセグメントを具備することカラーフィルタにより解決される。【選択図】なし
