PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of reducing noise without decreasing air capacity.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes: a motor case set 20 including an electric blower 21 for generating suction force, and a storage case 22 for storing the electric blower 21; a dust collection part 7 for collecting dust; an air intake duct 30 for leading the air from the dust collection part 7 to an air intake port 22c of the motor case set 20; and a housing for accommodating the motor case set 20 together with the air intake duct 30. The air intake duct 30 is provided with an introduction port 31 for introducing the air from the dust collection part 7 in a direction that intersects with the axial direction of a rotation axis 21a.
