METHOD OF MANUFACTURING FILTER ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a filter element which does not cause deformation of any of a pleated unwoven filter material and a resin frame without taking time and effort.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a filter element includes (1) a process of manufacturing a pleated filter material by pleating an unwoven filter material so as to have fold lines extending in parallel to a production direction, (2) a process of manufacturing a precursor filter element by fixing a periphery of the pleated filter material by a resin frame formed by injection molding, and (3) a process of manufacturing the filter element by heating the precursor filter element. 【課題】 時間と手間をかけることなく、プリーツ加工された不織布製濾過材、樹脂枠のいずれにも変形のない濾過エレメントの製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】 本発明の濾過エレメントの製造方法は、（１）不織布製濾過材を、その生産方向と平行に延びる折目線を有するようにプリーツ加工して、プリーツ型濾過材を製造する工程、（２）前記プリーツ型濾過材の周囲を、インジェクション成型による樹脂枠で固定して、前駆濾過エレメントを製造する工程、及び（３）前記前駆濾過エレメントを加熱して、濾過エレメントを製造する工程、とを備えている。【選択図】 図１
