PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of easily discriminating a food item in a storage room.SOLUTION: A refrigerator comprises: a storage room partitioned by heat insulation walls and a heat insulation door 10 and storing therein stored items; illuminating devices 34-1 and 34-2 provided in the storage room; partition shelves 30-1 to 30-4 partitioning a storage space of the storage room; a cooler cooling the storage room; the heat insulation door 10 covering the storage room; imaging devices 35-1 and 35-2 picking up images of the storage room; a memory unit storing images picked up by the imaging devices 35-1 and 35-2; and a controller exerting controls. The control unit turns on the illuminating devices 34-1 and 34-2 at predetermined timing, the imaging devices 35-1 and 35-2 pick up the images of an interior of the storage room, and the control unit stores the images picked up by the imaging devices 35-1 and 35-2 together with time information indicating each imaging date in the memory unit with the images associated with respective imaging dates. 【課題】貯蔵庫内の食品の判別が容易に行える冷蔵庫の提供。【解決手段】断熱壁と断熱扉１０によって区画され収納物を収納する収納室と、収納室に設けられた照明装置３４−１，３４−２と、収納室の収納空間を仕切る仕切棚３０−１〜３０−４と、収納室を冷却するための冷却器と、収納室を覆う断熱扉と、収納室を撮像する撮像装置３５−１，３５−２と、撮像装置により撮像された画像を記憶する記憶部と、制御を行う制御部を備え、制御部は、所定のタイミングで照明装置を点灯するとともに、撮像装置は、収納室の内部の撮像を行い、制御部は、撮像日時を示す時間情報とともに撮像装置による撮像画像を記憶部に記憶するようにした。【選択図】図７
