Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon black dispersion using N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone as a solvent, which has lower viscosity and higher concentration and is more excellent in dispersibility and storage stability, compared to a conventional resin type dispersant; and to provide a battery electrode mixture layer which has homogeneous and good coating film properties and low surface resistance, and a lithium ion secondary battery provided with the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a carbon black dispersion comprising carbon black, a polyvinyl alcohol resin as a dispersant, and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone as a solvent. A saponification degree of the polyvinyl alcohol resin is 60 to 85 mol%. When a BET specific surface area of the carbon black is denoted by X m/g and an amount of addition of the polyvinyl alcohol resin relative to 1 g of the carbon black is denoted by aX g, a is in a range of 0.00017≤a≤0.00256. |
