Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for conveying flexible glass sheets, such as LCD substrates, at a high speed greater than or equal to 15 m/min using non-contact, liquid-ejecting bearings.SOLUTION: Operating parameters and physical properties of non-contact, liquid-ejecting bearings 3 satisfy at least one of the following conditions: (a) the average flow rate from orifices 22 of the bearings is in the range of 100-800 mL/min/orifice; (b) the average horizontal pitch P of the orifices is in the range of 20-55 mm; and/or (c) the average size (e.g., D0) of the orifices is in the range of 1.0-4.5 mm. The bearings 3 can reduce the time-averaged maximum variation in the space between an LCD substrate traveling at 15 m/min and a face 20 of the bearing (3) to less than 100 μm, thus reducing the chances that the bearing 3 will lose control of the substrate or that the LCD substrate will hit the bearing 3.
