Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that such a sheave device and an overhead ground wire rebuilding method are desired that an existing overhead ground wire can be rebuilt with a new overhead ground wire without bringing all power transmission lines into power failure state but while maintaining a live-line state.SOLUTION: A sheave device 1 is installed in a top of a steel tower for rebuilding an existing overhead ground wire which is installed between steel towers at an upper position of an overhead power transmission line with a new overhead ground wire. The sheave device 1 comprises: a sheave member 2 formed of a pulley 19 which slides while mounting the existing overhead ground wire, the new overhead ground wire, or a rope for rebuilding work thereon, and a bearing part supporting the pulley 19 in a freely rotatable manner; and a vertical frame 3 erected in a mounting part 5 which is mounted to the top of the steel tower, for suspending and supporting the bearing part of the sheave member 2.
