Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-practicability evaluation method of hydrogen oxidation activity of an anode electrode catalyst using a chronoamperometry method in an alkaline fuel cell, capable of evaluating only a hydrogen oxidation current generated by oxidation reaction of hydrogen as evaluation of hydrogen oxidation activity of an anode electrode catalyst.SOLUTION: An evaluation method of hydrogen oxidation activity of an anode electrode catalyst using a chronoamperometry method of quantizing hydrogen oxidation activity of an anode electrode catalyst of an alkaline fuel cell through a half-cell test includes: a first step of setting a potential of the anode catalyst electrode to a low potential under an inactive gas atmosphere in an electrolysis cell and keeping the low potential until a holding current of an anode electrode catalyst metal becomes a normal state; a second step of then injecting hydrogen gas into the electrolysis cell in place of inactive gas, generating a hydrogen oxidation current and keeping such a state until the current becomes a normal state; and a third step of next measuring a difference between current values in the normal state in the first step and the second step, and determining the difference between the current values as a hydrogen oxidation current generated by hydrogen oxidation reaction in the anode catalyst electrode. |
