Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the axial length of a transmission device and improve the space efficiency thereof.SOLUTION: In an automatic transmission 25, brakes B1, B2 commonly use a piston supporting member 50, and a piston 105 of the brake B1 is movably supported by a fixing part 51 and a first cylindrical part 53 of the piston supporting member 50 and a piston 205 of the brake B2 is movably supported by the fixing part 51 and a second cylindrical part 54. A first engaging oil chamber 107 is defined between the piston 105 and a wall part 52 of the piston supporting member 50, and a second engaging oil chamber 207 is defined between the piston 205 and the wall part 52. The piston supporting member 50 and the piston 205 define the second engaging oil chamber 207 of the brake B2 to be further offset at the side of the second cylindrical part 54 to the first engaging oil chamber 107 of the brake B1 than at the side of the fixing part 51. |
