ROTARY COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-efficient rotary compressor capable of reducing an axial distance of respective cylinders without hindering workability in welding a closed container and intake pipes.SOLUTION: A rotary compressor 100 comprise, in a closed container 1, an electric motor 2 and a compression mechanism 3 driven by the electric motor 2 via a crankshaft 4, in which intake pipes 43, 44 for refrigerant gas are connected independently of each other to a first cylinder 8 and a second cylinder 9 provided on the compression mechanism 3. The respective cylinders 8, 9 have cylindrical cylinder chambers 30, 31, and suction ports 50, 51 are penetratingly formed in the radial direction from the cylinder chambers 30, 31. The rotary compressor comprises connection pipes 60, 61 which connect the suction ports 50, 51 to the intake pipes 43, 44. The respective connection pipes 60, 61 are eccentric in a direction in which the central axes of intake port side connection parts 60a, 61a are closer to each other than the central axes of intake pipe side connection parts 60b, 61b.
