TRANSFER APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer apparatus which can suppress occurrence of defects and flaws due to a to-be-transferred object's contact or scratching with an already mounted member or a carrier.SOLUTION: A transfer apparatus 1 is for transferring glass blocks 2 to a carrier 5 having a floor sash 52 composed of a plurality of long plate members arranged with a clearance among them. The transfer apparatus 1 includes an upper-side support part 300 which supports the front surface 2a and the rear surface 2b of the glass block 2 and a plurality of lower-side support parts 215 which are arranged mutually separately, can be inserted individually into the clearance among the long plate members and support the lower surface 2c of the to-be-transferred object 2. The transfer apparatus 1 is arranged so that the lower-side support parts 215 lie on a receiving sash 52; the lower-side support parts 215 are inserted into the clearances and the lower surface is brought into contact with the floor sash 52 of the carrier 5; and the supporting by the upper-side support part 300 is released and the glass block 2 is mounted on the carrier 5.
