Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof rail which can improve appearance quality and suppress the generation of wind blow noise.SOLUTION: A roof rail 10 includes: a support member 20 formed extending in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle and assembled to the top face of a roof R of the vehicle; a first cover formed extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, one longitudinal end part of which is supported on the support member 20 not to move in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, with the other longitudinal end part thereof supported on the support member 20 to move in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle; and a second cover formed extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and supported on the support member 20 to move in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle with one longitudinal end part assembled to the other longitudinal end part of the first cover. The outside surface of the other longitudinal end part of the first cover and the outside surface of one longitudinal end part of the second cover are located within the same plane.
