PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering column device that suppresses looseness with a simple structure so as to improve rigidity during a lock.SOLUTION: A movable bracket 23 includes: a body secured to an inner jacket 11; and elastically deformable extension parts 32 and 33 extended from the body. Upon movement of a lock shaft 38 to an axial lock Z1, slope-shaped driving surfaces 43 and 44 of a pressing part 37 of the lock shaft 38 are respectively to elastically deform the extension parts 32 and 33. Second restricted parts 72 and 92 of the extension parts 32 and 33 are to be respectively pressed against second plate parts 28 and 29 intersecting with a first plate part 27 of an outer jacket 12. First restricted parts 71 and 91 of the extension parts 32 and 33 are to be pressed against the first plate part 27.
