SAFETY NEEDLE ASSEMBLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety needle assembly which prevents a needle tip from being exposed when a part for storing an inner needle is damaged or broken.SOLUTION: A safety needle assembly 1 includes an outer needle 11, an outer needle hub 12, a protector 20, an inner needle 21, and an inner needle hub 22. The inner needle 21 is inserted in the outer needle 11 and has a proximal end part fixed on the inner needle hub 22. The inner needle hub 22 is provided in the protector 20 in a relatively displaceable manner, and the inner needle 21 is pulled out of the outer needle 11 by relatively displacing the inner needle hub 22. In addition, the protector 20 has an inner sheath 23 and an outer sheath 24. The inner sheath 23 houses a needle tip 21a of the inner needle 21 pulled out of the outer needle 11, and the outer sheath 24 covers the inner sheath 23 from the outside. Further, the protector 20 can be removed from the outer needle hub 12 in such a state that the outer sheath 24 covers the inner sheath 23 from the outside with the needle tip 21a housed in the inner sheath 23.
