MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal that performs handover between communication standards depending on the movement situation of the terminal.SOLUTION: It is supposed that a first area 5 is an area where a communication service by a first radio communication standard A is provided, but a communication service by a second radio communication standard B is not provided, and a second area 6 is an area where communication services by the first and second radio communication standards A, B are both provided. When a mobile communication terminal 1 detects that its movement from the first area 5 to the second area 6, the mobile communication terminal 1 is configured to predict whether or not it will stay in the second area 6 for a prescribed reference time or more on the basis of positional information of the terminal at multiple time points detected by a positioning unit. If the mobile communication terminal 1 did not predict that it will stay in the second area 6 for the prescribed reference time or more, it does not execute handover from the first radio communication standard A to the second radio communication standard B.
