Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric element in which acceleration of migration due to lowering of insulation resistance can be prevented, by preventing formation of a salt due to reaction of piezoelectric ceramic and an internal electrode layer.SOLUTION: A laminated piezoelectric element 100 telescoping by application of a voltage includes piezoelectric layers 110 formed of piezoelectric ceramic, internal electrode layers 120 laminated alternately with the piezoelectric layers 110, a stress relaxation layer 140 having insulating properties, and provided along the same laminate surface as the internal electrode layers 120 in contact with the outer periphery of the element, and a barrier layer 150 provided between the stress relaxation layer 140 and internal electrode layers 120 on the same laminate surface as the internal electrode layers 120.
