Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a less expensive organic electric field light-emitting device which enables the increase in light extraction efficiency over a wide band.SOLUTION: An organic EL device 100 comprises: a transparent substrate 1; an optical layer 2 uniform in index of refraction, formed on the transparent substrate 1, and having asperities on a surface on the side opposite to the transparent substrate 1; a transparent electrode 3 formed on the optical layer 2; a light-emitting layer 4 formed on the transparent electrode 3; and a reflection electrode 5 formed on the light-emitting layer 4. The optical layer 2 is formed by a binder layer 2A and particles 2B. The particles 2B have a particle diameter of 1000 nm or smaller. The intervals of asperities observed in a surface of the optical layer 2 vary in a range of 100-1000 nm. Supposing that the frequency of appearance of the interval which is observed the most in the surface of the optical layer 2 is "1", the frequency of appearance of the interval of 1000 nm is 0.5 or larger. |
