TOOL ROUTE GENERATION DEVICE AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool route generation device capable of reducing convexo-concave working traces on a side wall in a pocket area.SOLUTION: The tool route generation device generates a unit path by setting a re-work area in a part (for example, point Pi'-point Pi+1) in a work progression direction in a work area (for example, point Pi-point Pi+1) on the side wall in each unit path, and by setting a first path (point Pi+1-point Qi+1-point Qi'-point Qi-point Qi-1'-point Pi'-point Pi+1) as a closed loop path so as to perform a double-work on the re-work area in one or continuous two unit paths; to thereby connect to the first path to a second path (point Pi-point Pi'-point Pi+1) for shifting the first path in the work progression direction along the side wall.
