ELECTRIC FAN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fan which allows a user to attach/detach a remote control to/from an installation part without stooping, and which can secure sufficient space for a support post and a base.SOLUTION: An electric fan includes: a head part 8 having an electric motor 15; an axial flow fan 9 rotationally driven by the electric motor 15 and blowing air; and a remote control 2 capable of performing remote control. An opening 21 as an installation part for placing the remote control 2 is provided at the head part 8 located at an upper part of an electric fan body 1. By providing the opening 21 not at the support post 5 or at the base 4 but at the head part 8, a user can attach/detach the remote control 2 to/from the opening part 21 in a natural posture without stooping. Also, as the opening 21 does not exist at the support post 5 or at the base 4, these support post 5 and base 4 can secure sufficient arrangement space for arranging an operation body 14, a display body and the like.
