Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain excessive stress from being generated in a differential mechanism, when a rotational difference is made between front and rear wheels in a nondifferential state.SOLUTION: A control apparatus of a four-wheel drive car enables the four-wheel drive car to run in a center differential gear-locked state in which rotational differential motions of front and rear wheels are limited by locking a center differential gear allowing the rotational differential motions of the front and rear wheels. During running in the center differential gear-locked state, a speed of car is limited when a differential gear oil temperature Td reaches a predetermined oil temperature Ta or above.
