PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistor capable of suppressing a change in impedance due to high frequency operation even when the resistor is used in an electronic device operating at a high frequency.SOLUTION: A resistor 100 comprises a substrate 1, a resistive element 2 stacked on the substrate 1, a pair of electrodes 3 connected to the resistive element 2 and disposed at opposite ends of the substrate 1, and a protective film 4 covering the resistive element 2. The resistive element 2 suppresses a change in impedance due to a change in reactance dependent on an operation frequency by not having a trimming line but adjusting the film thickness of the resistive element 2 to adjust impedance.
