PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for reducing the traffic between a client device and a cloud service in moving or copying a file stored in one cloud service to another cloud service, as compares with a case where the client device temporarily downloads the file.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 20 transmits a request to copy a file to a relay device 30 according to user operation. The request includes storage source information indicating a location where the file is stored and storage destination information indicating a location where the file is to be copied. On receipt of the request, the relay device 30 downloads a file indicated by the storage source information included in the request, from a cloud service providing apparatus 10, and uploads the downloaded file to a storage area indicated by the storage location information included in the request without transmitting it to the image processing apparatus 20 which has transmitted the request.
