Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld monitoring system configured to acquire necessary joint information from materials existing in a welding site without requiring a weld worker or the like to input information, to determine whether a proper weld material is used for a joint.SOLUTION: A weld monitoring system 1 determines whether a proper weld material 25 is used for a joint 10 with joint information written thereon, and includes: a camera 30; an image processing program 51 for identifying joint information 11 from an image of the joint 10 captured by the camera 30, to specify the joint 10 from the identified joint information 11; a database 52 for specifying the weld material 25 in association with the joint 10; and a first determination program 55 which determines whether a proper weld material 25 is used for the joint 10. The first determination program 55 compares the joint 10 specified by the image processing program 51 with the joint 10 associated with the weld material 25 specified by the database 52, to determine whether the proper weld material 25 is used for the joint 10.
