Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for locating a high-resistance insulation failure place highly accurately in a power cable.SOLUTION: A galvanometer 8 and a measuring side resistor 9 are connected in parallel between one end of a shield layer 6 of an accident occurrence cable 1 and one end of a shield layer 26 of a sound cable 2, a locating DC voltage source is connected between a slide contact point 10 and a ground point, the other end of the shield layer 6 and the other end of the shield layer 26 are connected by a short circuit line, and a conductor 4 of the power cable 1 is grounded, thus forming a bridge circuit. Thus, even if an insulation failure place Fp is highly resistive, by changing a proportional division position of the measuring side resistance 9 by the slide contact point 10 to adjust current flowing in the galvanometer 8 to zero, the insulation failure place Fp can be located on the basis of a proportional division position at that time. Moreover, installation of high-voltage guards on one end side and the other end side of each of the shield layers 6, 26 allows the high-resistance insulation failure place to be more accurately located. |
