Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that prevents a decrease in efficiency in cooling while improving efficiency in heating.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: an outdoor unit having a compressor, a flow passage changeover valve, an outdoor heat exchanger, and an expansion valve; an indoor unit having an indoor heat exchanger; and a connection pipe which connects the outdoor unit and indoor unit to each other. The outdoor unit has an outdoor unit connection port connected to the connection pipe, a connection port-side pipe connecting the flow passage changeover valve and an outdoor unit connection port to each other, and an outdoor heat exchanger-side pipe connecting the outdoor heat exchanger and flow passage changeover valve to each other, the connection port-side pipe being provided with a heat insulation member and the outdoor heat exchanger-side pipe being provided with no heat insulation member.
