STOP COCK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stop cock device which suppresses deformation of a packing just before cutoff in the faucet device.SOLUTION: A stop cock device includes: a stop cock main body provided with an inflow channel and an outflow channel of water; and a stop cock member freely movable forward and backward for the stop cock main body, and the stop cock device is capable of opening and closing an inflow port formed on the downstream edge of an inflow channel by causing the stop cock member to move forward and backward. Therein, a packing made of elastomer is fastened to a position which is brought into contact with the circumference of the inflow port of the stop cock member, the contact surface which is brought into contact with the packing on the inflow port is flat and the packing has a seal surface which is brought into contact with the flat surface of the contact surface. Further, therein, a narrowing part is formed on a part in the flow direction of water proceeding from the inflow channel toward the outflow channel on a gap between the contact surface upon the opening of the inflow port and the seal surface.
