Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding device that folds a sheet-like medium of large size and that more improves stacking properties for the folded sheet-like medium to be stacked in a tray.SOLUTION: A paper folding device includes: a holding type reception part 104 which receives a folding type of a sheet-like medium; a sheet folding part which folds the conveyed sheet-like medium according to a folding type received by the folding type reception part 104; a rotary part 8 which rotates the sheet-like medium folded by the sheet folding part so that an end side formed by folding is on the opposite side to a conveyance direction of the sheet-like medium; and a tray part 10 where the sheet-like medium rotated by the rotation part is sacked.
