Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility of a short circuit accident of a battery during a collision of a vehicle in a mounting structure for batteries for the vehicle, on which a first battery and a second battery are mounted next to each other in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle in the engine room.SOLUTION: A mounting structure for batteries for vehicle comprises: a main battery 2 which is mounted in an engine room and has a negative terminal 22 and a positive terminal 21 which are provided to its top surface and are arranged on the right side or the left side with respect to the vehicle center line, with the positive terminal 21 being arranged in the center side in the vehicle width direction with respect to the negative terminal 22; and a sub-battery 3 which is mounted in the engine room and next to the main battery 2 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, with its side surfaces being arranged on the right side or the left side with respect to the vehicle center line and the negative terminal 32 and the positive terminal 31 being arranged on the side surface in the center side in the vehicle width direction.
