Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a passenger to realize that an air conditioner operates normally while preventing or suppressing noise entailed by driving of air mix dampers 11 and 12 (drive motors 11A and 12A) during automatic engine stop.SOLUTION: A rate of air previously passing through an evaporator 5 and then passing through a heater core 10 is changed by changing openings of air mix dampers 11 and 12. The air mix dampers 11 and 12 are controlled so that the openings thereof are equal to a target opening. During automatic engine stop, a drive cycle for controlling the openings to be equal to the target opening is set to a constant and long cycle as compared with that during engine actuation.
