Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the molding cycle and increase the heating efficiency in molding a metal part integrally with a thermoplastic resin and obtain a high-accuracy integrated molding stably.SOLUTION: A metal part insert molding method for a thermoplastic resin includes an insert step of inserting a metal part into a cavity 33 formed between a first mold 2 and a second mold 3, with the first mold 2 and/or the second mold 3 provided with an IH coil 35 or 65 and the first mold 2 provided with an elastic member 22 at a position in contact with a metal part 10 in the first mold 2, a mold clamping step of clamping the first and second molds, a resin supply step of supplying an unhardened thermosetting resin 45 into the cavity, a heating step of electrifying a current through the IH coil to heat the metal part itself or through an intervening member 70 composed of a ferromagnetic material so as to heat the metal part to a temperature equal to or higher than the hardening temperature of the thermosetting resin and a hardening step of hardening the thermosetting resin by heating the metal part. A mold for the molding is also provided.
