PHASE SHIFTER AND ANTENNA SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase shifter in which power losses are reduced.SOLUTION: A phase shifter 1 comprises: a device-use transmission line 10; an antenna-use transmission line 11; a phase shift-use transmission line 12 which has first connection parts 20a, 20b and second connection parts 21a, 21b provided so as to sandwich each of the device-use transmission line 10 and the antenna-use transmission line 11 while having equal spaces between the device-use transmission line 10 and the antenna-use transmission line 11 and themselves and being capacitance-coupled therewith, and which has variable positions of the second connection parts 21a, 21b connected with the antenna-use transmission line 11; and a pair of ground layers 13a, 13b for sandwiching the whole of the device-use transmission line 10, the antenna-use transmission line 11, and the phase shift-use transmission line 12 in the same direction of sandwiching between the first connection parts 20a, 20b and the second connection parts 21a, 21b while being insulated therefrom. The phase shift-use transmission line 12 is provided so that respective spaces between each of the pair of ground layers 13a, 13b and itself are equal.
