Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test device capable of simulating relative movement between a roller of an actual roller bearing and a retainer.SOLUTION: A sample roller 14 is fixed to a main shaft 10 rotated by a motor 4 to cause the sample roller 14 to be rotated (auto-rotated). To the rolling surface of the sample roller 14, a sample holder 26 can be pressed by a load-variable load loading device 20. A test control computer 100 preliminarily stores load pattern data 152 based on actual measurement, and outputs a load control signal (Pac) to the load loading device 20 so as to attain load fluctuation, defined by the load pattern data 152, in a period based on a revolution period equivalent to the number of auto-rotations of the sample roller 14.
