Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent traveling or driving of a vehicle in a state in which mandatory items are not displayed.SOLUTION: A display control unit displays vehicle information, which is transmitted from an onboard transmitter 13a, on a portable apparatus 40 carried by an occupant of a vehicle. The display control unit includes components described below. Namely, the display control unit includes: an onboard receiver 13b that receives display items, which are displayed on the portable apparatus 40, from the portable apparatus 40; decision means 14a that decides whether mandatory items, which are essentially requested to be displayed for traveling of the vehicle, are all included in the received display items; and permission means 14b that permits engine start under a condition that a decision is made that all the mandatory items are included.
