LUBRICANT APPLYING DEVICE, LUBRICANT REMOVING DEVICE AND CABLE LAYING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant applying device, a lubricant removing device and a cable laying method in which a lubricant can be satisfactorily applied to an outer peripheral surface of a cable only by inserting the cable, and not only the applied lubricant can be completely removed but also the removed lubricant can be recycled.SOLUTION: The lubricant applying device comprises: an applicator sheet 6 of a flexible member which is divided by a dividing line 6B extending in a radial direction in one location in a circumferential direction of an annular member including a through hole 6A through which a cable 1 is inserted while abutting its outer peripheral surface to an inner peripheral surface, and in which a plurality of notches 6C are formed which are disposed while being distributed in a plurality of locations in the circumferential direction of the through hole 6A and extends radially in a centrifugal direction; plate-like receiver frames 2 (2A and 2B) holding the applicator sheet 6 from both sides therebetween; and a casing holding the receiver frames 2 via both ends of the receiver frames 2 integrally holding the applicator sheet 6.
