PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify the user of an information provision device simply and securely to provide a recommended service.SOLUTION: An information provision device includes: an NFC communication unit for performing short-range radio communication, conforming to an NFC standard, with a user terminal, to receive identification information for identifying the user terminal from the user terminal; a history preservation unit for storing the identification information of the user terminal and the use history of the user terminal in an associative manner; and a control unit for generating and outputting recommended information on the basis of the use history stored in the history preservation unit in association with the received identification information.
