CALIBRATION DEVICE OF ON-VEHICLE CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration device of an on-vehicle camera capable of calibrating the on-vehicle camera using no dedicated jig.SOLUTION: A calibration device 1 of an on-vehicle camera includes: an extraction section 10 that extracts a feature point of a vehicle from a contour image of the vehicle taken by the on-vehicle camera 70; an estimation section 20 that identifies a lens center point of the on-vehicle camera 70 and a point on an extension line which goes through the feature point; a storage 30 for storing the lens center point of the on-vehicle camera 70 which is mounted on the vehicle at an ideal position and in an ideal direction and an ideal point on the line which goes through a feature point; and an adjustment section 40 that adjusts the on-vehicle camera so as to minimize the distance between the point on the extension line and the ideal point.
