Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work support device which supports an arm of a worker during upward work and improves the degree of freedom of arms' movement during the work.SOLUTION: A work support device 1 includes: a support pillar 10 attached to a body of a worker; an elastic support arm 20 which is attached to an upper part 10b of the support pillar 10 and has elasticity; an arm receiving part 30 which is disposed at the elastic support arm 20 and supports a part of the arm of the worker from the lower side; and an arm holding part 40 which holds the elastic support arm 20 so that the elastic support arm 20 rotates relative to the support pillar 10 and rotates the elastic support arm 20 in a vertical direction, the arm holding part 40 which is positioned at any position and rotates the elastic support arm 20 in a horizontal direction.
