The game machine 1 acquires data such as identification data by performing noncontact communication with an IC tag 50 of an exclusive figure 5 in a noncontact communication unit 21 and displays characters corresponding to the acquired data in the display unit 11 as the selection objects of the player characters. The game machine 1 receives the selection of the player character from the characters displayed as the selection objects and performs game processing with the received player character.
