PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of suppressing the mutual interference of the electric wave of proximity wireless communication and the electric field of a touch sensor.SOLUTION: The communication apparatus includes: a touch sensor 88 for detecting the contact or approach of an input medium by using the change of capacitance; and proximity wireless communication means 80 for performing proximity wireless communication with an information processing terminal 70 which exists in a communication range in which proximity wireless communication is possible. When a distance between the proximity wireless communication means of the communication apparatus and the information processing terminal is within the range of the proximity wireless communication, the detecting sensitivity of the input medium by the touch sensor is decreased. Thus, when an electric wave 110 to be used for the proximity wireless communication approaches the touch sensor 88, it is possible to weaken an electric field 100 of the touch sensor. Thus, it is possible to suppress the mutual interference of the electric wave of the proximity wireless communication and the electric field of the touch sensor.
