The navigation device 1 comprises a control section 17 for determining whether or not the mobile phone information received by the short-distance radio communication section 11 matches prescribed mobile phone information, determining whether or not the password received by the input section 13 matches a prescribed password when determining that the mobile phone information received by the short-distance radio communication section 11 does not match the prescribed mobile phone information, and controls performing the prescribed crime-prevention operation on the basis of the determined result.
