FLAT-KNITTING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR KNITTING WITH FLAT-KNITTING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat-knitting machine and a method for knitting with a flat-knitting machine, by which an accumulated difference of the loop length for the stitch can be corrected on each course and the accumulated difference is not added on the next course and in addition, when the yarn is hooked on each course and the color of the yarn is changed, the color is precisely changed on a desired position and the yarn for margin is not necessary to be treated with tack and the like.SOLUTION: A flat-knitting machine 2 comprises at least two needle beds 4, a carriage 6 comprising a stitch motor moving on the needle bed with back-and-forth and changing a stitch value of a stitch cam, a carrier 8 supplying a yarn to a needle of the needle bed, a yarn supplying unit 10 supplying a yarn to the carrier, a sensor 27 measuring a yarn length of the yarn supplied from the yarn supplying unit, and a controlling unit 16 controlling the stitch motor by a signal of the sensor 27 to correct the stitch value. The controlling unit 16 corrects the stitch value with a predetermined length shorter than a one course so as to correct a difference between a consumed yarn length and a targeted yarn length into a course of the carriage on which the difference is created.
